Just letting you know I am slowly but surly settling mum and dad in Victoria going to be a long road ahead but easier when close by to me.
Robyn I would like to thank you for all your assistance in helping me relocate my parents even though it is part of your job. Your assistance in the matter helped the transportation from Bankstown Arette nursing home to Airport and then to East Keilor Holloway nursing seem so smooth and effortless. It was such a weight lifted off my shoulders. The drivers from both ends were fantastic and Greg accompanying us during the whole process was fantastic. He helped so much with mum and dad from start to finnish. Please Thank all the staff that helped out that day and especially Greg for his support through the day, also once again thank you Robyn for taking the pressure of the whole transition.

Hi there, Yes I got back on wed night (but then got the flu on Thursday night so have been laid up since then!!) dad settles well after some initial hiccups. I’m not sure how he will do long term but it seems like the right move at this point.
I don’t need to tell you that Julie is amazing, as I’m sure you are well aware. It was great to have her knowledge, insight and company on the flight. We could not have made the trip without her. Dad was asking about her up until the day I left...although he asked about the American lady!!

I would like to thank Tom (pilot) and Ben (RN) for taking such great care of me. I was air lifted from Coolangatta to Essendon on 19/10/17. I wasn’t unwell but my right knee prosthesis had come loose and my knee had dislocated. My husband and i had driven to Byron Bay from Victoria for a holiday. Naturally i couldn’t sit in a car for 3 days and a domestic flight was out of the question. I have severe rheumatoid arthritis. Ben’s care was second to none. “Hi, I just wanted to let you know what a fantastic asset you have in Robyn, your co-ordinator in Sydney. She helped my family last week, by organising and co-ordinating the movement of my Dad from Burpengary QLD to Canberra ACT. Robyn and I had come up with a plan on how to get my Dad calmly to the plane and then on to Canberra (Dad has Alzheimers). Unfortunately that plan didn’t happen due to other people. But when I talked to Robyn, she went into action and came up with another plan which did work. Where everyone else was saying they couldn’t get Dad here, Robyn made it work. Every time I talked to Robyn she was caring and professional. I am so grateful to her as I wouldn’t have my Dad here with me without her help.”

The day Doctor Serge and nurse Mafel entered my life a great load was lifted from my shoulders. I had experienced a harrowing couple of weeks after my husbands accident in a strange country where I knew no-one. The moment that they entered everything changed. I immediately felt very comfortable and at ease with them. I had every confidence in them. They virtually took over everything and wouldn’t let me worry about a thing. I feel totally indebted to their kindness, compassion, and their competence in transporting my husband home, I thank them from the bottom of my heart.

Hello , this is my story regarding my mother (Mrs K / Mum), and her need for being transferred by SKYMED. I had contacted other places but they could either not go that distance or were horribly expensive. On the day of mum leaving the hospital mum’s sister was there to say goodbye and check out the people who would take mum to Warwick , she was thrilled when she saw the 2 lovely nurses who instantly took away any concerns regarding the trip.  They stopped a couple of times and had tea and cakes and then lunch on the way. I would absolutely recommend SKYMED  for transferring your loved ones especially when it is wise to have medically trained staff to look after them on their journey. I had a call from Robyn at 3:00pm to say that the flight had landed and all went well, with little drama, and I understand that she is now comfortable in Calvary under Dr Ashby’s care.
