Hi Skymed and team. Just a quick note to thank you all. I had a call from Robyn at 3:00pm to say that the flight had landed and all went well, with little drama, and I understand that she is now comfortable in Calvary under Dr Ashby’s care. I also received a message from Simon, confirming that everything went to plan. It’s up to her from here, but at least she is home and in good and familiar hands. I know that you all do this all of the time, and I was fully confident that at least this part would go like clockwork, which is what I conveyed to the family. Thank you all again – I know that you went above and beyond to help us and to provide the best care for our mother. Not an experience I’d wish to repeat anytime again soon – but hopefully I’ve conveyed how much your efforts and are appreciated by the family. Regards, Scott

Hello , this is my story regarding my mother (Mrs K / Mum), and her need for being transferred by SKYMED. I had contacted other places but they could either not go that distance or were horribly expensive. On the day of mum leaving the hospital mum’s sister was there to say goodbye and check out the people who would take mum to Warwick , she was thrilled when she saw the 2 lovely nurses who instantly took away any concerns regarding the trip. They stopped a couple of times and had tea and cakes and then lunch on the way. I would absolutely recommend SKYMED for transferring your loved ones especially when it is wise to have medically trained staff to look after them on their journey. Mum had a wonderful trip with these lovely people. Karen

Hi Robyn. Just wanted to say thanks to you and your team for the great service provided yesterday. Everything ran very smoothly and the ground staff and pilot were highly professional. She was able to put me in contact with Roy and Nicola who helped facilitate a very difficult, challenging and time critical patient transport which involved crossing the QLD to NSW Border. Roy and Nicola were incredible and provided service over and beyond. Words cannot describe how your team impacted so many lives. Hi Robyn and the Skymed, I wish to thank you and the entire Skymed team for making it possible to bring my Dad home. The support from the very first call I made to you has been wonderful. Your understanding of the stress I was under, and the reassurance I received was fantastic. I had so many hoops to jump through in other areas but this was made so much easier with your advice and assistance. Dad is settling in well and we are rocking through ISO together and he only has about 4 days before he will join the rest of his new community at BUPA. I have made a short video of his experience 🙂 I can’t recommend Skymed highly enough! you have all made it possible for my father and I to be together, and with the uncertain times we are all in, I have no idea how long it would have been before we would,or if we would ever have, seen each other again.
