The ambulance transport staff in Brisbane and Melbourne – unsung heroes in my eyes – once again their kindness to my mother was exceptional. As I reflect on 2019 and prepare for a new decade, I find you at the top of my list of most memorable people. Your compassion, commitment and determination to our friends during their most desperate time of need was absolutely amazing. I’m am so so so thankful I got Skymed to look after the transport from Melbourne to

Hong Kong for my aunt who is bedridden from a stroke.

It was quite an experience with many unknowns. However Robyn and her team made the process very smooth. During the preparation and the lead up to departure day, she was always a phone call away when I needed to clarify things.

The two nurses who assisted were Keely and Dom (or Adam). They were very professional and responsible. My aunt gave them a big thumbs up when I asked her for feedback.

Dom was holding my aunts hand the whole time while on the wheelchair because my aunt likes to hold onto someone to feel secure (so cute) and Keely was constantly monitoring my aunt’s status throughout the night.

The flight were delayed for an hour and although the nurses may not make it to their connecting flight back to Sydney, they still took time to do a proper handover and made sure that my aunt got on the ambulance in Hong Kong safe and sound.

Their price is also the best one I could find online. Thank you all again for your great service.

I’ll take the opportunity to thank you guys for transferring mum from Vic to Qld. It was a totally smooth operation from the onset to the execution. Others could learn from this.

First of all my sincere apologies for taking so long to send this email.

I want to thank you very much for all the help and care given in arranging for my parents to be able to move to Ballarat with the least amount of fuss and discomfort, and for the exceptional care they received from Julie Scotti. Mum thoroughly enjoyed being able to fly again and I believe was encouraging the pilot to go faster!

Mum and Dad were able to spend 12 amazing days together before Mum sadly passed away in her sleep on the 26th April. I believe it was with contentment knowing Dad was in good hands with family around, and that I was not burdened with finding her at our home.
